Well now, this didn't go as planned. lol
Had a bmw blow past me lastnight on my way to the gym after work. so I decided to play catchup and then let him know I was game. Well, I didn't see this coming..
After the runs, we pulled over and chatted. He said he puts down 480rwhp to my 443rwhp. His car was a beast. Now I know what 40rwhp and 600 to 700lbs. lighter car will do...
Enjoy my L76 getting puppy kicked.

He said he also owned a 2014 nissan gtr. He said it was quite abit faster then the m4. Man Im in the wrong business..

Good death. Turbo BMW's can be very quick with just a few mods. At least you weren't a butthurt ***** when he beat you. A lot of people are.
I was surprised by a de badged 3 series BMW a couple weekends ago. 30mph roll to about 70 and he was within a car or two from my back bumper. I bet he doesn't find much on random encounters that can beat him because he was also surprised at my car.

Yeah I don't mind losing at all. It just makes me want to get more done to her. I actually have respect for all quick cars. Ford dodge or even honda. If someone is passionate about making a fun quick car out of anything then I can truly appreciate it. If I would have lost to a honda the video would still have been posted. I'm just curious how I would do against a stockish 5.0 from a low roll? Haven't ran up on any yet. But when the day comes the vid. Will be posted win or lose.

Great runs and good job getting it on video! Rare to find someone who knows how the 3 honk works also: love those chance encounters where you can meet a new friend like that.
M4 weighs around 400lbs less then a G8 GT. Figure 300lbs since you gotta be nearly 100lbs lighter with the aftermarket headers and exhaust right? So a stock M4 is rated at 425hp and they tend to dyno around 390-400rwhp so he had to have modded it decently right? If it was stock you should have been neck n neck or even edged him IMO.

Mine weighs 4055 as it sits without me and I weigh 175lbs. I have 2 8" subs in the back. But that's prob. 50lbs. He said he dyno'd 480rwhp. So idk. All I saw was nitto Dr's on the back. Seems stock m4's trapping 117 to 119 is the norm also. If you watch the 2nd. Run I must have been in alittle lower rpms. It took 7 seconds for mine to shift out of the gear I started in. He went thru two gears. I think I could have held better if I had her knocked down one gear lower like the 1st. Pull. But still he would have pulled anyways.. lol. Ain't no shame in my game. He had the faster car. If he says he puts down 480rwhp. I'll take his word for it. It pulled like it did. I'm guessing I'm prob. Around a 112 to 114 mph. Trap with our humid Midwest da. The thing is he told me he was stock. But told me he dynos at 480rwhp. I even double checked and asked him if he's dyno'd it and he said yes 480rwhp. If he was bone stock and really putting down 390 to 400 then I need to up my game.lol
Yeah he was about the only 2nd. Person out of quite a few that knew when to hit it on 3. Lol

Those M4's can get well over 500whp with minimal mods. Just tuner friendly. Seen vids of them in the low 11's with little more than a tune and drag radials. I've witnessed seeing them drag c7's at the track.
At least you tried.

Well from watching the video again we were going from a slower roll on the second pull, dammit I should have dropped down one more gear. Oh well it would have been just delaying the inevitable.
