Default Zl1 vs nitrous trans am

I had the chance to run a stock 2013 zl1, auto the other day. My car is a 6 speed 2002 trans am, with cam, 3.90 gears and 100 shot. The runs went about as I expected and are shown below. The video isnt great, but you get the idea. The first video is on motor and the second is on nitrous.

Looks like he had a small jump on the n/a run, otherwise it might have been dead even

Nice runs, any track times on your car and what do you think you are making for power?

I went 12.4 @ 114 before the gear swap and it made 375 on motor. No nitrous times because im running street tires and the stock 10 bolt.

The zl1 was a nice car, but after going for a ride, it just didnt feel that fast. For the money, id be temped to get a vette or gt500

"Feel" is very different in a 5th gen. Just because it doesn't "feel" fast doesn't mean you aren't actually picking up speed more quickly than you think. Especially with that smooth magnetic ride control the car is what I'd call deceptively quick. 5th gen does not have the raw, un-tame feel that a 4th gen has and it took me a while to get used to.
