Default 403" Trans AM Nitrous Test Passes (FINALLY)

Finally got all the bugs worked out with the high RPM miss issue and went out to Mexico to dial in the car on the bottle. I sprayed down the lanes with vht and lit it on fire to make sure it was all extra sticky and sure enough it did the trick.

The first video is using the .082(225 shot) jets and there was a slight delay with the nitrous coming on off of the Trans-Brake but it left PERFECT! Did one more pass and same result, left perfect and no spinning or tune issues.

Decided to throw in the .110(350 shot) jets and pulled 13* of timing with the LNC2000 and setup the progressor to initially spray at 80% and bring in the rest over 2 seconds... The video speaks for it self Pulled tire about a foot off the ground and then the break happened... LOL

Ended up only being a broken rear Ujoint... THANK GOD. The 10 bolt is holding up perfect being that it has all aftermarket internals in it. I have a greased conversion Ujoint in the back of my shaft which is the weak link... Next up will be adding a 1350 pinion yolk to the rear and slapping in a Spicer solid 1350 Ujoint to avoid this and see how far the 10 bolt will take me.

Bad *** man! Holy hell!! That car straight up boogies. Too bad about the U-joint, hopefully nothing was damaged. That grease fitting u-joints are weak, never use them!

Yes, I was aware of them being weak but decided to go cheap and not upgrade the pinion yolk to a 1350... Lesson learned and will be back out with the proper Yolk/Ujoint.

Damn..that is still on the 10 bolt? It appears that they are not as weak as some say they are. Then again if the U-joint did not break, I wonder if the rear would have went?

I am always amazed at how the material stresses at a moment in time actually find the weak points and show them to you pretty quick. Sucks that it leaves you stranded on the road though.

Killer car though and nasty!!

10 bolts are very driver sensitive and also last much longer behind an auto.

Last I recall guys have ran 9's with them. Also can blow up running 12's lol

Yes sir, it has Motive 3.90 gears, solid pinion spacer, studded bearings, Moser axles and a support cover with factory torsen unit. Only thing that's ever broke is a worm gear in the Torsen about 2 years ago... replaced it with another unit and has been fine since. But like you mentioned... maybe it will be the next to go once the Ujoint is no longer the weak link... We shall see.

And luckily I have AAA LOL
