Great running c5 bro. Most definitely no shame in those loses, Very honorable death. You basically brought a box cutter to a gun fight. The Z driver needs to learn how to drive his car truth be told lol.

Thanks man. Once the car is blown, it'll be a different beast, especially with these long gears. Yeah I he should have pushed it a bit harder. The race against the GTO was pretty good as well, I'll have some videos up once I my buddy sends me everything.

How's that 08 Z06 treating you? I actually had a 12' civic si that I sold for a 13' Abarth. Couldn't take the rev hang anymore. Both are long gone now, and my DD is an 08 cayenne TT.

I need to update my signature. I traded the si for a 15 evo mr which I hated and sold earlier this year. Sold the 08 Z and bought an 09 Z and ctsv wagon. Sold those as well, bought a new house and downgraded to a 15 focus st which I also hated and sold and bought a 02 C5Z. Was going to mod the crap out of it but a buddy twisted my arm and I sold that as well (June). Went pretty much car-less for about a month and a half and picked up a brand new C7Z which took a **** 3 days later that gm bought back. My current dd is a new 17 6g ss (with a busted manual transmission I blew), as well as a 16 Tundra 4x4 and a g8 that does not run lol.

cai, exhaust, tune makes an M5 a FBO car... but your car isn't FBO with lines as long as a toys r us on black friday?

LOL in all honesty, should shorten up your mod list...
-full exhaust
-cammed and supporting mods
-intake
-tune

your list looks long as **** compared to the M5. LOL

Stock E60 dyno'd 380ish same day I made over 400 all motor on the dyno I was on. They have some weight to them too... Just north of 4k. I'm surprised you got pulled as hard as you did tbh by the M5.

C7Z driver sucked massive dick. And what'd you guys race to there? 60-80? LOL That **** lasted like 2 seconds and then people let off every race it seemed. The good quality camera that was on the inside of the corvette... why was it not used to record the racing over the potato used by the passenger instead?

I'm surprised Hio didn't say it, but I honestly expected a bit more out of this. At least you got some runs in though. I can respect that.

My personal belief is that it's not really a race unless you cover a 100mph spread in general, or at least up to 130mph if you find yourself stuck doing a lame freeway speed rolling start. Anything else is just f'ing around, not racing.

Most races are from 50mph to between 110 and 120mph. The GTO races were from 20mph to 115 ish mph and 50 mph to 130 mph. Not really a 100 mph spread, but not a 20 mph spread lol

I made my mod list long so I could keep track of it lol.

The potato filming inside was my Nikon D5000 kept in day mode because my dumbass roommate doesn't know how to work a camera. So, there's that...

I'd agree... I've run 60-170 before. LOL Definitely a better race than something like 60-100 where it seems everyones shutting down too early.

80-100mph spread seems about right. 40-120 or 140 or so is usually the norm on rolls.

Thanks for the videos man.

Think you should have done better vs the M5.... Maybe do some gears to help that cam out some.

C7Z was a terrible driver.

I thought about doing gears after that race, but I think part of the problem is I'm on a really rich tune. The base map tune was put on before the car had headers, x-pipe, and exhaust (it was a cam only car for a while, but needed to keep it safe). That's when I ran the M5.
I'm still on that tune, but I think I've become a better driver. A lot of potential still to be pushed out with a good dyno tune. The reason I haven't tuned it yet is because the car is being supercharged next week, so it'll have a real tune at that point.

And yeah, I don't think the C7z was pushing it nearly as hard as it could have been run.

So this dude filmed himself getting walked by my vette in his 04 FBO big cam GTO from a 20 roll. He came in all cocky because he had a drag pack and I was running Nitto NT01s saying basically he would walk me from a 20 roll. Well, here's the result. Yes, it was filmed with a potato.
