Highway runs vs. H/C/I/n2o LT1 and 2.80 Cobra (video inside) Ran a couple of local guys on the highway. One is a heads/cam/intake/stall LT1 with a NX 150 shot, lots of suspension, etc. The other is an 03/4 Cobra vert with a 2.80 pulley and bolt-ons. The LT1 went 11.70's before the heads/intake, no times yet with them on. The Cobra hasn't been to the track.
My mods are in sig.
Results were about what I expected. With the LT1, it was reasonably close through 3rd, once I hit 4th he really started pulling away until we let out at 120, he was a car, car and a half ahead.
I pulled on the Cobra then we kind of leveled out on the top end... those things pull hard up top.
