Phantom vs. 430rwhp H/C SS (tech member)
.
I was on my way to my girls house, and a very sharp looking & very nice sounding LS1 SS pulled up next to me. I tired unsuccessfully for a good 2-3 minutes to get the other girl I was talking to off the phone so I could get a run or two in … until finally I was just like "Gotta go, call you later!" and hung up. hehe
We lined up a few times, all from a slow roll .... which we both had to start at low rpms (~3,000) in second gear since first gear would just send the tires uncontrollably up in smoke due to the shitty road (second kept it controllable at least lol). Two of the runs led us the entire way though second gear with us literally dead even, I don't even think inches were exchanged. The final run we had some more road but he missed third so it was again indecisive.
We pulled over afterwards, and exchanged info about our cars. Turns out he's a LS1tech forum member (I'll let him post and reveal his identity if he wishes) with an impressive 430rwhp H/C, suspension, and other goodies. Really cool guy and we talked for a good 10-15 minutes before I had to jet (I was an hour late to the gf's house as it was).
Although we couldn't get any real good runs because we were on a shitty road (it was sandy and there was a good deal of traffic).... it was still one of the best matches for my car I have come across in quite some time .... I think if we had been on a highway and were able to row through some more gears he might've eventually taken me, but regardless it was definitely some good competition, and one of the closest races I've ever had.

The bottle is pretty much the only part of the system that's still venom.
So gray, where did you find that sucker?! haha.
All that fun stuff is out for the winter .... that's what happens up here in NY, snow = no more juice.
