Turbo civic vs lt1...
This kid around town with a 98 or 99 civic with an intercooled turbo on his 'sohc vtec' says he will waste a buddy of mines 97 camaro a4 lt1 w/ just a cat back. He said he dyno'd 212hp in his civic but he also has a huge wing, body kit and heavy 'ram air' hood.

dont get too cocky. your friend SHOULD by all means win. but...anyone can lose on any day. its just like sports, anyone can beat anyone on any day. so be sure to stick to the basics and kick his *** first...make fun later...

not to support the "rice boi" movement
I've seen my share of pretty fast turbo civics, but those usually have engine swaps too. When I had my Type R with a charger I only had 225 to the wheels and managed to beat a manual LT1 with mild cam twice by a little more then a car. If he does have in the 200s, which I doubt he even does with just a sohc engine and turbo, he might give you a good run.

Don't know if anyone caught this but a wing on the back of the car would put downforce on the back of the car, thus putting less downforce on the front of the car, where the wheels are powered. So actually, that big *** retarded wing would probably slow the car down more than anything because of poor aerodynamics.

Hmm sounds like a valid point but the weight of the motor should be enough for the front tires. The wing is to fight lift created by the air moving under and over the car. so I dont think it will hurt him at all.... wont help with anything more than steering
