Default V8 Firebird couldn't keep up

Just last night I was following a black V8 Pontiac F-Body doing about 50 in a 40. There are 2 corners in a row up ahead followed by a long straight and then one last corner (all banked 90s). Since I am behind him, I follow him through the first two at 40, however I jump him coming off the 2nd corner and pass him. Of course he is gunna be riding my *** on the straight so I hold it at 75ish. Third corner comes up and I see his head lights drop way back. I hold it stready and go through it at 75/80. He didn't tailgate me the rest of the way home.

I know F-bodies are not the best handling cars in the world, but I still thought it was funny.

Maybe he just didn't care to go through a sharp turn at 75 mph in a 40 zone and risk wrecking.

You drive a Caprice, and are talking about the way F-Bodies handle? Give me a break

i agree, my car handles great at high speeds, its been lowered an incha dna half so that helps, but still, even stock they handle quite nicely, he either didnt kno wthe handlig ability yet new owner?) didnt care, or was an older guy whose past the point of realizng speed while cornering, is playing with fire, i havent rached that point yet

hmm sounds to me like you gunned it and passed him for no reason, and he didn't do anything about it. Don't expect everything to race you just because you gunned your caprice in a 40.

very move.

I'm not really agreeing with everyone else, but perhaps he might have not wanted to play keep up or even try to race you. Besides if you posted a kill story of you actually beating him in a race, they would just call BS anyways or not even read what u posted and make ASSumptions, because remember the rule; F-bodies never loose

umm its just common sense so you think his caprice could out handle a fbody . if it was a mustang or something that doesnt weigh 6grand i would say nice kill but come on

no race took place, therefore no kill was made.

LOL. That's why there are so many Caprices in auto cross racing.

You have got to be the most butt hurt member on this site. "oh my god an f-body beating something, this story is biased because it's an f-body involved not a b-body" buffman what a tool

I'm sorry I hurt your feelings Asshat

I simply stated that even if a race did occur and both parties participated and his caprice were to by chance beat the Firebird, assclowns like yourself would come in here, immediately call BS, and walk away like trolls.

Whoopie our cars handle like crap from the factory, but with some mods they can handle quite well

yeah, it was like this one time, when I was coming home in my 15 year old diesel Ford Transit van, I went round a bend and left this 911 Porsche way behind.

Man, I know Porshces have engines in the back, but thought they could corner better than that!
