Lamborghini Gallardo vs Z06 Had a little run with a 05 Lamb this week.
I caught him tearing up the roads in my area, so I chased him down to admire the ride.
We talked for a few and then headed out. As he entered the on ramp I followed… Just as he entered, it was on! 1st and 2nd were gone before hitting the straight a way, 3rd I moved over to the left lane and roll up next to him, 4th I put about 3-4 cars on him and by 5th I was way out in front and still pulling…finally shut down @ *70. I slowed and gave thumbs up and he return the courtesy and went on our ways. Beautiful ride......
I did expect a little more from the Lamb, but he was probably a new driver (paper plates and all) Anyway it was fun to run with! (at the track of course)

The Z makes 430 RWHP (AFR heads and Cam package)

good kill! there is always that saying however- he rides home in a lambo and you ride home in a ... hold on a minute... a z06... i just may rather have the z06 than the overpriced lambo..
. it would cost him as much as all of your upgrades on your car costed to change out his brakes

If speed is you're only concern a Corvette certainly would not be the best solution. If you want a fast good looking usable and comparitivly affordable car then it is. But there's plenty of cars out there which are quicker.
And BTW how many Lambo's do you see on the road compared to Corvettes???
This is part of the reason they cost more.
