mach1 vs c5 vs ls1
went to the local street races and had a little fun.
first race was with a 03 mach 1 with intake, full exhaust and tires.
weline up and he jumps the gun and leaves at the first yellow and gets a good car on me. i take off after him and by the end of the 1/4 we are even. the guy was cool and admits that he jumped the gun.
second race was with a c5 i asked him if it was modded and he said no just tires. as we were waiting in line he tells me he has a timer build it to his dash and is going to time the run. *(am not sure if c5 have a timer in there dash )
since i never heard of that on a c5 i figure he had a shot of nitrous and was arming it.
we line up and launch at the green, am pulling till mid track when he just files by me like nothing, by the end of the track he has 4-5 cars on me.
i was suspicious because ive beaten a few c5 from a stop and roll races. and ive beated 2 stock zo6.
i talk to some of the other races there and they confirmed that he had a 125 dry shot.
in all it was a cool night, i really need to around to wiring my window switch.

Beaten a couple of stock Z06's? Not on the highway you wouldn't, maybe off the line, but they should be able to quickly reel you back in if thats all the mods you have.
Also, your dyno #'s appear to be BS unless there are unmentioned mods.

thats all my mods and those #s are legit. i posted my dyno sheet in the dyno section a coulple of months back. look at my profile and look at my threads and you can see it for your self. i don't see how those #s are BS
a z06 is a fast car but its not unbeatable.

Yeah, those #'s sound high for those mods and an A4. With equal drivers a stock ZO6 should pull on you pretty good. I'm not doubting you though. If you drove well and the ZO6 driver was a real bad shifter or missed a gear or something, I could see you beating one. A stock ZO6 can run 12.4's, and I believe some of the fastest stock ZO's have been 11.7.

thats at sea level, at 4200ft it takes a really good driver to get a stock zo6 in to the high 12's . a decent driver here gets around a 13.4, 13.5, look at my sig and see my time when i was stock i got a 14.3 thats almost a second slower than it should be all because alttitude.
i know that they are fast cars and most people who buy them don't buy them to race so ya they prob were crappy drivers
as for my dyno numbers, all i can say is my cars a freak, its make the rwhp of a m6. i did 2 pulls first was 345.3hp & 363.7tq and the 2nd is whats in my sig

i said in a previous post that they probly were crappy drivers. but how many times do any of use get paired up with equall drivers. if i did get paired with a equall driver and don' t think i would lose that bad.
but i understand what your saying
