Well as the title states..... I was at bowling today and my friend who helps out was there. My TA is stored for the winter so i took my moms jaguar x-type 2.5L out today. AWD might i add so therefore, its a boring mom-mobile. Well anyway, i am always tellin everyone how its so slow and they say yea right, its a jag. so comin home i told my friend in a 95 bonneville to race me. from about 35 ish we hit it, he instantly pulled and pretty much put bus lengths on me making it a sorry sight for the luxury brand car. So therefore..... dont OVERestimate the high dollar mom mobiles by their brand and might i add, dont underestimate the 95 bonneville, haha. Hope you enjoyed. Stupid to put up i know but my friend wanted me to show that he beat a jag in a 95 bonneville.

iam the friend. i walked his ***. hahaha. i honked it off and we hit at the same time, his headlights faded fast. lol. i think it would put up a fight against his t/a. hahahaahhaa yeah right. the bonerville does smoke the hell out of the front tires though

haha well the TA is garaged for the winter so i thought id test out moms mobile. It was on my way home. Actually saved me time due to the excess speed of like 10 over, haha. This is basically just a funny thread, did happen tho and my friend wanted me to post up. Ill get you posted on further ownings.

haha jag sucks. It says its rated at 194 hp. AWD 2.5L. feels about 94 hp. Im trying to set up a run with an 01 civic ex, vtec, if i get beat by that ill never be seen dead in that jag again!

Haha yea, well this is the first time but if i get beat by a vtec, thatd be a shame. Yea the Bonnie is the V6. And yea i know, its the lowest type jag but people dont seem to understand that! Oh well. hahaha. Well power wise i totally agree its a POS, hasha, but its pretty cumfy inside with the heated leather seats, AWD and chrome cat on hood, baller, haha. But Slow as ***. hahahaha

Well the X-Type isn't a real Jag at all.

The 3.0 runs pretty good. And the 4wd will help if it's snowy out.

But think about it, a direct alternative for the Jaguar is the BMW 320i 0-60mph 9.4 seconds and 150bhp

Or a Merc C180 0-60mph 10.1 seconds 135bhp

yea its weak, i know that, just proving a point that my family is not rich as everyone and there brother assumes since our non expensive x type has a cat on the hood. Haha, well anyway, its slow, i know that and others will now also. just funny to think about it tho. The name jaguar being beaten by a stock 95 bonneville! even if it is an x-type, haha
