Default '06 Sti vs 02 SS vs 06? gt

So im sitting at the local starbucks tonight, which is more or les the weekday racing hangout, with 2 of my buddies, (02 Zo6 and a Terminator) both just have exhuast as they are older and arent so into the racing thing as the look and sound.

So a white Sti + black gt pull up, i believe it was an 06, it was the new bodystyle but could have been an 05? i dont know much about fords.. but they park right in front. so the Zo6 makes a comment about how the nose of the new Sti's look kind of like a vagina... the guy hears it tho and starts getting a defensive about his car being the fastest in the lot and yada yada...

a few minutes later i get the bright idea to call this guy out, ive raced them before, and wasnt all that worried, but just wasnt in the racing mood tonihgt, but w/e i opened my mouth. so he finds out i have a camaro, i dont tell him its an SS or that its got exhuast or gears, but he is bone stock.

So we hit the road and line up at a light, and i guess his mustang friend thought i was calling him out too but we had 3 wide with my friends behind us, the light changes and we all hit it, i dont know what this guy was doing but he launched at about 3 grand and go absolutly no jump at all, i spin them just a bit and the mustang ends up jumping out into the lead , but he had a great launch, but ive realed him in by 3/4 of the way through 1st , slam 2nd and start walking, slam 3rd and about this time i had about 3 1/2 cars on the sti and im going about 75 just shift 4th and shut down at 85 with about a bus on both of them.

i guess the sti didnt know how to drive, he seemed like a goofy kid, but i bet he was older then i am, but im still only 16

went back to starbucks and enjoyed the rest of my latte

I loved coffe from age 14 and up. Nothing wrong with it. As far as an LS1 at 16, I hope you are mature for your age.

WOW!!...I wanted a camaro SOOO bad when I was 16!!! I finally got one when I was 20. I think it is a damn good thing my parents didnt allow me to have one when I was that young...I was stupid and probably would have hurt my self. Instead, my first car was a $1000 1976 chevy K-5 blazer. It had a '68 z28 motor in it, still slow cause it was so damn big, and a set of 35 inch tall, 15 inch wide superswamper tires. God I loved that thing...I ran over everything I could. <<< like I said, young and stupid!

flamin...it was a piece of sh... the guy who i bought it from did all the work himself...and not a master technician, let me tell you. it was all rusted and falling apart, the exhaust was held up by damn cloths hangers...still hard to believe??? The moral of the story was that it was a junky thing that would keep me safe...to some extent, and it would'nt matter if i ran into things...which happened many a time...haha

I would have thought a new STI would have been a decent race. I've seen the stock one's run low 13's. Guess not.

yea you can with a decent cam or with nitrous, maybe you could of used the money on a cam/nitrous instead of buying a dvd head unit lol
