Default Modded GTP vs Bolt on's Formula

Finally got my car back on the road. Got my LT's, ORY, LS6 intake and clutch in and this is the first run I've had.

Other car was an '01 GTP with intake, exhaust, pullies, ported blower and ported and polished manifolds? Don't know how fast the car should be, but he had a vacuum leak and wasnt at full boost.

For a four door, the car is quick and the driver is a friend of mine.

No sound on the video, older digital camera.

First run was from a dig, second was from a 15 roll

I have no numbers yet. Since the install i had the rear O2 stuff deleted, but no dyno pulls. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll be able to get the full tune/dyno and also head out to the track.

I know the GTP ran a 13.9x before the ported blower and polished manifolds but thats about all I know.

I dont know if he's a member over there or not. Name is Patrick, really cool guy and his car wasnt running quite as good as it is now. With the weather though we havent been able to line them up again.

I know he's working on a shift kit and installing a 50 shot on his car so the next video might be of him pulling me...

well he might hang with you alot better mabe even get ahead but form a roll i still think you will edge him out. ive owned 2 diff GP's. an 04 and v8 05. and neither are strong up top. well not compared to the ls1. the ls4 in the GXP is good but geared to steep in 2nd. and the GTP are notorious for lame topend. only the turbo/ csc setups have good topend.

It should be a close race. By the time we run again, hopefully Ill have my cutout and gears in and possibly a full tune, so it should be a good run.

We'll record it again and ill post it up either way.
