boring but humerous story
So I was comin home from school today. I have a 25 minute commute in my daily driver 95' Volvo 850. I got on the highway and started my cruise at 85 mph. I pass a silver Mitsubishi Lancer OZ edition. I just kinda looked over and kept goin. I'm listenin to my music, very calm and relaxed, and next thing I know he flys by me doin like 110 starin me down!! I was like WTF!! Do you want me to race you in my 95' 5 cylinder Volvo?? (It's the slowest thing on earth) So anyways I called my buddies and they had a good laugh and I thought yous guys would to.

My son was telling me that a punk from his high school was smack-talking about how his pure stock Lancer OZ could destroy my bolt on Z28. I told my son to tell the brainiac "anywhere, anytime". My kid never heard a peep from this rice-a-jabroni again. I think some of these kids have gotten into ol' Willie's magic mushrooms.

Your true miles are stored in the PCM.
The difference between this and street racing is, tampering with the odometer is a federal crime, unlike petty street racing.

Geeez. Man you tell a guy how to build a bomb and everybody is happy, you tell a guy how to make a kill switch that BY THE WAY happens to not register miles and youre frowned upon.
So here, the disclaimer.
To install a good power interupter switch, start at the guage fuse. This will kill all power to the ECM for the start up. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK. This HAS been known to cause problems with registering miles through the odometer so USE ONLY AS THE MEANS TO A KILL SWITCH. Nobody wants to buy a car with incorrect milage.
Id still drive the T/A everyday, otherwise youre gonna run across a lot of good races w/o it. Good day.

Not trying to start and argument here but you realize the dangers of street racing FAR exceed the dangers of tampering with odometers??
Also, a Federal crime is the removal of any Catalytic converters as well, but Im sure none of us have gone down that lonely road.
Please note that Federal law prohibits removal or replacement of a properly functioning O.E. converter. Catalyticconverter.org
