2003 mustang saleen A guy I work with has one and says it runs 11's he said this in a tone that made me think he didn't know what he was talking about. I said maybe on nitrous, then he stated w/ a bewildered look naw on nitrous i run 9's, as we continued the conversation in which i was thinking bull$hat, he went on to say yah I have a different cam, nitrous..etc. What do you guys think the possiblity of this being for real? IMO he really doesn't know too much about cars...and he has never took the car to the track to even get a valid time. Keep in mind the saleen in the new body style only runs like 1/10 of a second faster 0-60 than the standard gt and mid 13's stock.......

Is your car modded or stock? With just a few bolt-ons i'm pretty sure you would be able to stomp him. There are so many types of mustangs.. Maybe the 2009 Mustang Cobra will be able to beat a LS1, but then we will have new camaros

just dig up a video of a 9 sec car going down the 1/4 mile, when he sees this the look on his face should tell you that he IS in fact full of ****. Tell him he has a mid-high 13 sec. car on it's best day.

Well I thought you guys might get a kick out of that! I only have free MODs...yes Im a poor bastard. I thought if we did race it would be a lot closer than he could imagine...he probably would still beat me, being I have an A4 though.

doubtful, most people can't afford the saleen w/ the blower, most saleens you see are just a glorified GT.....body kit, suspention, Cold air induc.....still turds. Go whoop his ***. Even if he is blown, I ve seen the S/C'ed ones runnin low 13's here at sea level...
