Default The New M5!!!

whts up guys , my friend offered to race me in his new m5 2006 against my z28 vert from zero-800m , his m5 is bone stock with street tires and i have cheater cam installed and tuned ,full bolt-on , 3600 TQ ,3.73 gears and MT street slicks

Should i go race or go home?

Anyone raced one before ? how do they perform against slightly modded ls1?

Glance at mag says mid 12's @116ish mph. Race him. You'll probably hold your own from the hole to about 90mph, where he will reel you in (if he's behind) and commence his walk.

^What he said. Launch it like you dont care about it, and it will be at leasta good race. I think that he is overconfident since he is the one challenging you. He might get caught out at the hole and its a damn good kill for you.

youll probably get him on the launch but after 50 mph he is going to pull you remember this is a 200mph bmw with the limiter taken off good luck.

That has nothing to do with determining the outcome of a drag race set with an end parameter.

i think you have a good chance till around 95-100. thoose cars are insane. i was watching a 5th gear episode on them and they showed how the car just pulls the whole time with no real weak spot. the only time the car slowd down a bit was at like 95, paused for like half an sec and just kept pulling.

How come if people tell you it may not be a win for you then you wont race? Just race him regardless of if you will win or not. If you only race when its a sure win for you then what the **** is the point of racing in the first place?

Oh yeah since there isnt supposed to be anymore "what would happen posts"
