Default got my *** handed to my by an 05 Gt

Well I値l try to get this in b4 work so here it is: I was at a light and the red 05 or new vert Gt revved up a lil so I知 like I知 game. We come off the light slow and he mashes it a little (sounded good). So I get on the side of him and tell him to get on the highway and he was game. So we line up from about a 50 roll I open the cutout drop to 2nd and three beeps I pull 2-3 cars instantly then I hear this sound like gushing air moving and he fly痴 by me like I知 standing still. Instantly in my head I知 like that痴 a bad mother ****** right their. We go again a couple times same result, I pull a couple lengths then he walks away from me pretty good. I get beside him again and ask if he痴 spraying because I could hear the thing just pick up and go right before he blows by me, and he says its supercharged. I give the guy thumbs up and tell him is a bad *** car, then I come home. I hate losing but this loss put me in such a good mood to see a bad *** domestic pull like that. I知 the type of guy that gives props regardless of what it has spray no spray supercharger or N.A. The guy had his girlfriend or wife in the car so I知 sure that made him feel even better, but whatever props go out to that mustang owner he was cool as hell.

I'm guessing he had a centrifugal blower on it based on your description.

Way to man up and post a death.

Agreed. If someone is fast enough to beat me (not like Im anything special, but you know what I mean), then I'll always give props given the chance to.

Good death. At first I thought you had gotten beat by a stock 05 GT but knew there had to be a blower somewhere in here.

No, I don't think so...but maybe it was NAWWWWSSSSS.

A "woosh" of air definitely sounds like a centrifugal to me. A roots/twin
screw whines and a turbo is pretty distinct.

...and the owner of the car saying it's supercharged kind of lead me
to my conclusion.

Ya their was no whine at all. But i heard the gushing air sound and then he was off, im thinking he was just slow off the 3 beepes or he just wanted to toy with me, thats why i pulled car first.

Cool,

Those s197's can make pretty decent power with only 9psi.

Most centrifugal kits will make 420-490rwhp on a stock short block. Although the higher hp is probably on borrowed time. Think the piston rings are the weak spot. But a built 3v should be cabable of seeing some serious street usbale HP.

Nice death. The new 3Vs can be pretty formidable with a little FI...

You need some nitrous for your bird.
