GTO & C5 lay the smakdown on 11sec GT500 Chevy Ownage

c5 was h/c/i auto, stall, gears, blah blah. he ran 10.8 @ 125 w/ a 1.4 60'. The GTO ran a 11.7X off the bottle and 10.9 on the bottle. It's h/c/i, gears, auto, stall...pretty much same as vette. he said 430rwhp off the juice (150 shot).

Sweet. That GOAT launched pretty hard. The vette, MPH'd his *** pretty bad. You can actually hear the vette from inside the stang, which sounded good itself.
That WHIPPLE cobra, was pretty fast itself.
Cool video...after seeing the incar footage,...in makes me jones for some track time.

Did you guys happen to notice that the Shelby was running a stock pulley
(and that shredded belt). 10's are a pulley swap away. That's pretty impressive
all things considered.

I think that GT500 is on a small shot of gas also....

a couple things to say. he was on 4 ribs, and not really launching the car all that hard, on stock pulley. that IS impressive imho. i'll **** all over a stock shelby i see on the street, but goddam if the guy gets some tires, a pulley, and some tuning and driving skills i have my work cut out for me
