what was this guy thinking? im cruising home late the the other night when i passed a new mustang V6. i look in my mirror and he is speeding up "fast". he gets next to me and floors it so he can cut in front of me to avoid hitting the car in from of him. we get to a clearing and he does it again. i get pissed so i catch back up to him. we do the whole 3 honks thing but he guns it after the 2nd honk. he gave the 3rd honk after he got the jump. it was worth it to see the look on his face when i flew past him with his girl or sister laughing at him. it made my night.

Its funny, actually its sorta sad about how uneducated some people are about their cars. On the other hand after having an escort, my v6 camaro felt "fast", but then i bought a z28 and learned what a real sports car is. So now i guess this guy knows the difference between something that "looks" like a sports car and what actually is

I had a light blue 05-06 v6 mustang try to race me too. Had a big eibach sticker on it and single aftermarket exhaust I believe. I just let it go on.

Where i live their are 2-3 2005-06 V6 5-speed Stangs running around that think they are awesome. One of them was explaining to me that becuase he didnt order a special package it gave him suckier gears but saved him 50lbs or something. He was bragging to a bunch of kids about how he was stock and running 13's...He stopped saying that after my best friend's bolt-on 97 Eclipse GS-T absolutely demolished him from like a 50mph roll...by 110mph were we shut down we had put a bus and then some on him...The best part was we went back to the parking lot where the stang owner had previously been bragging and everyone asked my friend wat he runs (best of 14.7 @ 97-98)....For some reason no one takes that kid seriously anymore...

Its ture people think there cars are alot faster than they really are. I used to drive (i got you all beat) A ford contour i knew it was slow however i really had no idea. ill never forget the day i picked up my car from the lot (LS1). It scared the **** outta me so bad i did not get on top of it for a week lol and right now its really as fast as i need it to go it already gets me in to trouble.

my (male) friend drives an 05 stang v6 convertible, it's definately a chick car. what drives me nuts though is if other friends see both of our cars, they think his is awesome and so fast because it's a mustang, and i guess they don't know anything about f-bodies.

I went from a '94 Ford Probe GT 5-speed (24V DOHC V6 w/ about 160 HP) that felt fast to me to my first actually fast car back in 2000 which was a '98 T/A M6. I took it on the onramp after buying it and gunned it in 4th going about 60 and nearly jizzed myself.

god its priceless when they get smoked by a F-body and the look they give on their face...exspecially when its only a 3.8

Haha, I went from a 87 Olds Cutlass supreme with the 5.0 V8 with 140hp lol to my LT1 and the LT1 felt Scary fast. I remember the first time I drove the LT1 I could not beleive how much power it had....now after that the LS1 didnt seem like such a drastic change.

But I can see how people think there cars are fast when they have never been in an actual "fast" car, I know I thought lots of cars were fast that I rode in until I bought my LT1...

haha my gf has a v6 mustang and i love to drive it just cuz its so fun to **** around wiht. i cant do half the stuff i do in that car in the SS simply for the fact i would be dead..

my first car was a 82 corvette.... i used to get beat by stock hondas.... talk abotu ebarrasment(sp?)
