Porsche Carrera S4
This morining going to work i see a nice porsche up ahead so i catch up to him. It was brand new with paper plates from the dealership. As soon as i get behind him he punches it, but i was already in the right gear so i hit it. I switched lanes and got on the side of him but we had to brake because of traffic. Then we get side by side with some room in front of us. We both hit it at the same time from about 80 to 130. When we let off his front bumper was at my back bumper.
I couldn't believe it I was very excited because i thought for sure this guy was going to walk away from me. When we were done he wouldn't even look at me so i gave him a rev and he hit the next exit. This was a very fun run...
I did some searching and found that the 2006 S4 has 355hp with a 3.8 liter v6 and does 0-60 in 4.7. It just doesn't make sense he should of beat me.
My mods.....Lid, filter, bellow, cai, 85mm MAF, Ported TB, cutout.
Sorry, story ended up kind of long

They should be running mig to high 12's. Your car should be somewhere in that area as well, maybe a bit slower, but he could've been in the wrong gear or just wasn't a good driver.
Good kill man!!!

I didn't think it seemed like a mid-high 12 second car at all. Although we started from at least 75mph...maybe a bit faster. All I know is he saw Z06 tail lights REAL quick. It was an older guy and he was on it HARD kept egging me on after he lost 4-5 times.

I think it's funny how most people think the regular NA cars are barnstormers and are amazed that they beat them. Quick, reasonably, Z06 or modified LS1 quick, most aren't.
Turbo cars are a WHOLE different story.

Indy, Is that last picture a 996 with the Aero package? The 993/996 looks good!
How do you like the Air cooled versus the Water cooled motors? I've heard the cars are two entirely different animals. The last 996TT I was in was a damn freight train!

The last pic is of my first 911. It's a 2000 with bbs wheels and the aero rear wing. I really don't care for the side skirts. I like the sound of the air cooled but the water cooled design was well over due. The cars are alot more refined and they got rit of those dreaded stair step type push pedals. The engine on the 996tt is the same block they use in there race cars which means you can bolt on until you get to about 700hp without going into the engine to change parts. Alot of people like the look of the 993tt over the 996tt which I can't argue with. I always wanted a 993tt but after owning one the 996tt is must a "better" car.
