I have a 93 z with a few bolt ons runs a 13.8 at 98. A friend of mine has been telling me for months that he would smoke me if we ever raced. he said that he beat his dads 94 z when he was stock. Now he as an intake exhaust and a full suspension. Finally i saw him out and asked him if he wanted to go.

first race:
i told him to beep from a 15 roll, i let off at 40 because i had him by more than 2 lengths already.

second race:
i beeped from a 25 roll, he jumped before i even hit the second. I assumed he would stop, but he didnt, so when he was about 2 cars ahead i hit it, i had him by 1 1/2 already at about 85 mph. He said man, i didnt expect that. He said you gotta be 300 wheel. I said no way, but i showed him how far s#$^ talking goes.

horrible roll for him no traction in first. race at 40 and it will be a different story. That 98mph trap speed is what most redlines/cobaltss/sc trap stock so it would be a much better race with traction.

i have never seen under 96 mph stock. since he is modded i can't really believe it. Are you guys at high eleveation?

it wasnt his that ran that, kust saw it at the track, not high elevation, ive seen a few run, most in the 15s in the low 90s, i practically live at the track

were they all missing gears becuase in order to trap that low you have to. you are not seeing what i amseeing go to cobaltss.net and check out the fastest stock look at the trap speeds there all between 96 and 100mph.

got it dude, you drive a cobalt, im not stupid though i know what i see. I also saw something you post here before where you were showing someone ran a 14.3. in that article there were lower trapping cars. Whatever man, i slaughtered both of them, the cobalt and the saturn, from rolls, neither were close even though they obviously trap at least 96, whatever dude.

nope never did that. Every car ive seen traps between 96 and 100 stock. I trapped 105 with a slipping clutch and a lot of wheel spin and i can guarnetee i have less mod money than your buddy story doesn't add up sorry.

i kno lots of shitty drivers at the track im one. more about his exhaust just a catback i would assume. he should be around 230 whp and 215 tq in a car that weighs less. Run up a little higher speeds next time just becasue you pull a car at the begining of a race doesn't mean the race is over.
