Well last summer in worcester i was just cruising down the strip and my car is pretty loud this kid i cant remember his name came totally out of his way to run from the group of guys he was talking to and watch me drive by, he gave me the sign to hit it so i did, he then jumped into his car and chased after me, i looked back, looked back again and noticed it was a mustang, im saying to myself "ok cool i might have a race on my hands here", then he pulls up next to me and i see the old cobra on the side of the car now im saying to myself "oh **** now im in for it" (its a black supposedly cobra still have my doubts, a little hispanic/black kid). So he gestures for me to roll down the window and says "hey you wanna run e'm", "of course i do" i says, he says to follow him. so im fllowing him he keeps punching it here and there the we go under the highway and take a left to this straight road drove to the end he stops and gets out so i do the same. were looking at eachothers cars and he says you ready and gets into his car. So were lining up and he told me to beep so we go on three and we go i left him where he was standing. It was rediculous which made me think it really wasnt a cobra nevr know though. His excuse was my exh scared him when i got on it and he couldnt think lol what a loser.

If you were putting out as much power in your sig during the race, and he was stock, then it's possible. If that's was the scenrio then I wouldn't doubt it at all. But then again there aren't a whole lot of stock Terminators running around trying to race. But this whole story seems a little off to me. ... Anyone who has any kind of racing experience should be used to the sound of a loud exhaust roaring. Plain and simple. I don't buy his excuse. Good kill though.

I honestly dont think so either, i just thought it was a funny excuse ive heard alot of them but that topped the cake. And i honestly dont think he knew how to drive. Yes i had exactly what was in my sig during the race he said he had magnaflow and an intake thats it.

I've been starttled by loud exhaust before, but never "scared" enough to not push the gas pedal down !!

I'm positive it was nothing of the sort...his car is just slower than yours...good story!

My guess it was either an earlier NA Cobra(99/01) or a GT posing. Either way, I seriously doubt it was an 03. Good kill.

My cobra is stupid fast, but if someone has loud exhaust and revs at me, I get scared and forget which pedal goes down and which one comes up...
