a race i guess
Well I was on my way to the auto parts store to get gaskets for the headers I have on the way. This little GSX-R 600 wanted to run. He had his girlfriend on the back, so I guess he wanted to show out. I'm sort of the I will run anything kinda guy. So we go from like a 5 mph kick to about 130! He was racking the gears really good, but for some reason I think he was holding back. Because he didn't put but maybe 1/2 a car on me. What you guys think? He seemed like he was giving it pretty much all it had. But, I just felt like he should have left me like I was sitting still.

well the extra girl on there and the fact that is a 600 are two reasons he *might* have not been giving it all but he also man just be a crappy driver and short shifting the gears i know alot of people do that that have no idea how to drive.

Yeah, I was thinking that. It was a 600 so the extra weight doesn't help the fact that it doesn't have the torque as say a 750. It also looked bone stock! I couldn't tell if he was short shifting or not. Sounded like he may have hit a rev limiter going into 3rd or 4th.....

well a 5 kick the bike would have been a slug till at least 8000rpms which is closer to 30 so that hepled you and the weight of 2 on a 600 really slows them down alot. and sonsidering your speed it was prob just a 1st and 2nd gear run for the bike. so i can see it not pullin to much from a low roll with 2 ppl
