Im writing this kill for my buddy since it wont let him post. Anyways me and my friend were out in his Charger daytona r/t when we come across a 350Z on the highway. my buddy then put his car in manu-matic mode and downshifted but couldnt get to second when the Z jumped and pulled him by two cars almost. But then the Z slowed down and my buddy got it into second as the Z was honkin off. the charger pulled ahead half a car but then hit a dead spot in third and the Z pulled a car but when my buddy smacked it into 4th he pulled real well and got a car on the Z. The race was from 50-125 or so. Also in my buddies defense im heavy at 280lbs and he is over 200 himself plus a trunk full of ****. So stockish Z's kinda disappoint me considerin my Formula rips my buddies charger bad. Oh as for me i killed a twin turbo 300zx in my formula earlier in the night but it was kinda of a borin kill. my buddy should chime in soon.

I think its because of the crappy mercedes transmission they put in it. But iam getting a handheld tuner soon so that should fix it up a little bit.

LOL, that's funny ****! Good kill! Those 350Z's aren't fast, but they don't do too bad for a 230 rwhp car that only weighs about 22 lbs less than an LS1 fbody.

Yeah I agree. I know my LS1 GTO A4 is faster than a 5.7 Charger and I was pulled up top by my friend's stock '07 350Z 6spd at the track.

Yeah i thought it was definitly going to spank my *** when it started to pull when i was in 3rd but when it hit 4th my high end walked on him pretty bad

Man dont blame the Mercedes trans, its the one they use in their AMG cars and they seem to do fine, maybe its that 4000+ lbs thing you sit in

A 5.7 Charger R/T is very good race with a '03-06 350Z. To be honest I'd put money on the HEMI at 80+.

well it be a well placed bet. I just thought the Z would get us cause of the weight difference. cause my buddies car with us in it plus that crap has to weigh a good 5000lbs

'07 350Zs have trapped 107mph... more than enough to pull an A4 LS1 GTO topend.

The new Z's with their HR motor are underrated at 306 hp. My friend's stock '07 350Z 6spd ran a 13.2 at 107 down at the Cecil, Ga track. His best e.t. is 13.1 so they're capable of mid to low 13's trapping at 105+ stock. Much stronger than the previous Z's.

I can keep up through the 1/8 if not be ahead a little but the second half his Z is stronger up top. Now he's an above average driver so most people won't be able to duplicate his times but even an average driver should get into the mid 13's with the 6-speed.
