I am installing c5 rear calipers on my fbody and wanted to see which brake pads to run c5 or fbody? Im guessing c5? Also which rotors c5 or fbody?

You want to get with C5 pads, although i believe the rotors are the same size anyway.

You have to use the F-bod Rotors, C5 have a diff offset. You can use the C5 calipers on the F-bod brackets, the C5 caliper brackets will not work on a F-bod. and you can use the C5 pads in witch you have a lot more choses in compounds. I am running the C5 calipers with C5 GM hi-performance Ceramic pads and Brembo sloted rotors and using the F-body caliper brackets. great street setup for DD.

These are bolt on sorry a bit clueless here. You can put c5 calipers front and back on our f bodies with just c5 pads..?Simple as that. I thought read about c5 z06 calipers are they different? better? Any part numbers. I could use some more braking. Do I need any other hardware to do the swap..

We are talking about just the rears right now. The C5 calipers are stiffer and stronger they are pressure cast unstead of gravity cast like on our cars. the fronts are a diff story, the C5 calipers have smaller pistons than the F-bods, the C5 uses 12.9 rotors, to install the C5 calipers on the front without going to the larger C5 rotors would be taking a step back wards.

The full set of c5/c5 z06 calipers fit, only diff of the two is the color. But as mentioned above your wasting time and money if you dont buy the brackets and larger c5 rotors.
