Default Strange Double Adjustable Question

I got these a while back but the time to put them together is coming soon. I have never really dealt with adjustable shocks on my car before, but wanted to make sure to put these together correctly from the beginning. My main question is the thrust style bearing. I noticed this thing has several layers.

Is this one bearing or several? There where 2 stacks (like in the second pic) included in the kit, but it seems very thick, and wanted to hear opinions.
Also what end of the spring is the top? It seems when I put the spring cap (not sure if that is the right word) on the spring it only fits on the flat or big end of the coil.

You have 2 kits. On each shock you need one washer then the bearing and then another washer. I usually put these between the spring and the adjuster nut.

Hey thanks for clearing that up. I know the flat side is the bottom of the spring that sits on the bearing, the spring cap does not fit into the top. Will this change once the spring is compressed?

Also is there a bump stop on these? Sorry for all the questions, but that is why this forum is here. I tried searching these shocks but not a lot of info is posted on them.

Your springs are set up for the stock upper rubber mount.

Hey thanks for the info. After calling strange today, I verified this with them. I also verified that they gave me one too many bearings sets also. They guy on the phone was having a hard time understanding my specific model and set, even after explaining the type of vehicle.

Last question madman, is there a bumpstop built in to these struts?

I asked the person at strange, but they did not know. I don't want to guess.

Thank you for all of your help. It seems strange just threw parts in my box.

No bumpstops. You will be hard pressed on a f-body to bottom the shock out.
