This has come up before..... I'd recommend a search.

I'll also add, you generally (but not always) get what you pay for both in quality, durability and functionality. Cheap springs are always cheap for a reason.

I agree with Sam 100% you get what you pay for! I have the Eibach Pro-Kit and they do alright but I'm still looking at getting a set of stranos in the near future. Just my .02

The summit springs are rebadged/repainted eibach pro-kits that were blems. I know a guy who works for summit and that info came right from him so im assuming it can be taken as fact.

I called Summit a while back and asked for the spring rates. They were the exact same as the pro-kit. That's what I have on my third gen(not as orientated towards handling)

Ok Ok I have come to see they are the prokits. Which brings me to my next question, I am sure some off you have the prokit on your cars any pics of how low it drops? Any imput on how they ride, NOT HANDLE. I do not auto cross, and really dont do much drag racing either its more a looks thing. So any more imput w/o sayin. "Do a search" would be great, thanks again!

Hello, from my understanding is that the prokit rides a little harsh. Im not bashing Eibachs springs just telling you what ive read on other posts. For $35.00 more than the summit/eibachs springs you can get a set of our 1" springs that have a good ride and lower the car nicely.

I'm going off what was stated in post #10... None the less I know what good springs cost, and I know what crappy springs cost. Eibach's QC has tanked. If they can't even keep a thumb on their full boat price production springs I highly doubt the low ball make them for someone else is going to be any better.

I agree you get what you pay for, but i will say post #10 is incorrect. Who ever gave him his info was wrong. The Summits are the exact same thing as the eibachs.

What type of dampeners will have a big influence on that.

Well, they aren't exactly the same.... we know they aren't the same color at the very least. And again, let's get real here. Why would Eibach give springs to Summit at such a blow out price (remember Summit has to be making money here too).

Something is fishy.

and LilJayV10 is right too. Shocks have a huge effect on ride regardless of spring. But don't fool yourself into thinking a short spring will ride great. Particularly these as they don't have enough rate (and the hit and miss variability on height makes things worse) so you slam onto the bumpstops. A case of acutally more rate tending to ride better. There is a point where that stops, but considering we are talking about front springs that are only 400 pounds (stock is about 300, 1LE front 360), but a good 1.5" shorter and there isn't enough rate to cover the drop without harder and faster contact with the bumpstops. Shocks help, but can't cover a bad spring rate.
