Default Anyone out there make a DS loop that works with X-pipes?

From what I have seen most X-Pipe people seem to be hung out to dry on that. I need to get a DS loop on my car to be NHRA legal and plus I'm scared to not run one on an 11 sec. car cutting 1.5-6 60's. Looking to see who makes one that works or may work? I know many x-pipes are different but if for the most part they "cross" in the same general area.

I'm a little skeptical with my setup

Thanks...I wish I was more aware of people having issues running DS loops w/ X-Pipes or else I would have done it the smart way like you did.

Default Mine...

I have the SPOHN Loop...

http://www.spohn.net/shop/1993-1997-...fety-Loop.html

It fits... But touches the exhaust just alittle... I have The TX SPEED rumblerX

http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=196&catid=56

system in my car. It's very tight, but it works... just gotta fit it alittle...

I also have a BMR TQ arm...

and it fits, even though they say it is for use with OE Torque arm. I can get you a picture in the next few days if you want, just PM me,

Default umm...

The BMR torque arm replaces the stock stamped steel torque arm that is currently under your car. This is BMR's PITCH...

Factory torque arms do a great job at robbing horsepower and torque and "dissolving" it into the chassis. Replace your weak, flexible stamped metal torque arm with a rigid BMR tubular version and put that power where it is supposed to be - the pavement! Made from MIG welded 1.25" x .120" tubing with heavy duty 1/4" mounting plates. Bolts directly in place of factory torque arm using all factory mounting locations. Requires no welding or drilling and clears all factory or aftermarket exhausts. The adjustable version comes equipped with a rear adjuster for adjusting pinion angle while the non-adjustable is preset at the optimal -2 degrees(in stock height applications). Both versions come with a new, low deflection polyurethane front mounting bushing. 1982-2002 V8 F-Body('82-'84 requires purchase of '85 or newer torque arm "clamshell" mount). Also fits all V6 F-body with one piece driveshafts. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

Awesome man! I was actually talking to Ryan if you guys offered a DS Loop. I'll be up at State College a few times during the summer so I'll stop by and pick one up! If you by chance needed a car with an X-Pipe to mock one up or whatever I'd lend my car out to you guys, gives me an excuse to drive it lol.

I have a d/s loop that will fit this setup and anything else on the market. it is a tunnel form-fitting part that will provide plenty of clearance for any exhaust and torque arm configuration. it is a one-piece assy but is a bolt-on part. This is a brand new setup that we are just now putting in the mix of our top performing components. no pics available until next week though.

Default DS Loop PICS

looks like its touching the DS here, but its just the angle of the picture

Image from the tunnel, it fits snug, REAL snug

You can see where the edge of it touches the exhaust... gonna have that fixed, its very minor.

its against the body on the top left, but its bolted to the body, so no rub...

Close up tunnel

i have a SPOHN, and it tucks up nicely, just like the above post. no clearance loss whatsoever. i ran TSP true duals for a while, and it worked like a charm
