I brought the summit brand I'm pleased with it...now I need a kill switch. Taylor is a good brand plus I believe its NHRA legal.

The BMR kit is f-body specific to fit where the spare tire went, those other kits look universal. I have the BMR kit with an optima and I love it, but NHRA rules want a sealed box around any battery even though an optima is way more stronger than a wet cell battery in a alum. box.

I purchased a battery holder similar to the one from Bmr from a circle track shop for about 25 bucks.

BMR, its simple and solid construction, it fits perfect in the spare space. i tried that box and it was crap, couldnt fit anywhere and it just broke I did keep the cables for it tho.

3. anybody know the NHRA rules for the battery box?
4. This question is for the guys that didnt use a kit, how many feet of cable did you use and where did your route it? Ill be doing this starting tomorrow ( at least pricing supplies and thinking about it, gotta finish installing the tranny first lol) so any tips or tricks would be nice

I wouldn't go with the BMR piece. They won't allow you to run with that at the track.

Battery relocation isn't exactly rocket science.

I think you are asking me..

I have not taken anything out of it from when I bought it.. It was custom made by a member on here.
I have some odds and ends to go with it.. And enough wire to run from the front to the back. I just don't need it for my current car.

PM if interested in mine.
