Default New setup... Driver side front wheel problem.

Well i just installed my new bilstiens and prokit. I had Qa1's and some other springs before. With the previous setup i didnt have a problem with steering. All i did was swap out the shocks and springs. Thats it. Last nite i took the car for a test drive to see how it was. When i hit a bump, something from the drivers side front feels loose and makes a funny noise. Ive checked everything. When the car is just sitting there with the steering wheel straight the passager side looks fine. The wheel is nice and straight. The driver side on the other hand looks like its steering slightly left and when im driving the car pulls in that direction and the steering wheels feels "loose" or "softer". Is this just an alignment issue? Really need help on this guys. Im getting really frustrated.

The noise might be from the top strut mount nut not being tightened properly.

I made sure that it was tight. All the way tight! Both sides. Im going to take it off and check again though. Could it be a bushing maybe?

If the strut mount is torn, degraded or otherwise compromised it could make a difference.

How are the bushings on the lower control arms? more specifically the rear of the arm....

All bushings all good as far as i can tell. Im really more worried about why my wheel is steering left just sitting there. It doesnt make sense to me.

The only way I believe you could affect that would be the lower control arm is either to far in or out on the adjustment slot. This would alter the toe rod length and toe the tire in or out. The location of the lower control arm also alters camber settings.

The real question is, however, if or why you messed with the adjustment bolts at all, during a shock/spring swap. There's really no need to do so......

But, if you did, you might want to look for evidence as to where they were beforehand. Tightening the nuts against the frame may have left some marks. If not, I see a front end alignment in your future.
