Default Torque arm brands

Saw an edelbrock adj torque arm for sale locally and wondered if anyone has one and there opinion of it. I noticed the metal they are made out of isn't as thick as bmr's or sphoon's. Just a bolt-on car that it will go on.

UMI hands down. Quality product and never once a single fitment issue with any of their products. http://www.umiperformance.com/catalo...ex&cPath=7_115

for what its worth, my bro in law has one and he launches on spray with slicks and skinnies with the edelbrock and cuts low 1.5s and its been fine for well over 100 track passes

ive heard a lot of bad reviews about the edelbrock ones breaking ALOT. silversrtman i think is the only good review ive ever heard of the edelbrock tq arm. save your $$ and buy a umi or bmr. you'll thank yourself in the longrun

Lol, actually I'm the jamooke in question from silversrtman.

I've had it for about 7 years, it works fine, never broke. It was about half the price of most of the others back then so that was why I bought it. The only tradeoff with the one I have is it is non-adjustable. They may have an adjustable version out now, not sure.

But yeah, it's worked fine, probably has at least 2 dozen or more 11 second passes on it, and at least a dozen on the spray. Most 60s in the 1.5-1.6 range.

However I'd probably recommend just spending the extra if you can for an adjustable T/A, since that's a nice feature to have.
