6 Liter Eater C5 Conversion?
The kit is $500. Fair price or no?
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with it and if it was worth the money? Its about half the price of a baer big brake kit.
"With this kit you will receive TWO FRONT drilled, slotted and zinc plated C5/C6 (base model) rotors and all the brackets and hardware needed to bolt them on BUT THAT IS NOT ALL...
WITH THIS KIT, you also get Braided Stainless steel brake lines. Hawk Performance Brake pads. A 1 Liter can of ATE Super Blue brake fluid.!!!"

no >>>just my personal opionion
adds weight with brackets with c5 conversion and the difference will not be that noticeable....besides you will have an 1" bigger front rotor plus if using the stock caliper your not going to have as much surface bite as it doesnt grab the rotor fully>>>> for the money not worth it
save up and do the ctsv front conversion(if your on a budget) and it bolts right up with a good offet 18" rim that will clear the calipers and that right there is the way to go ......

C5 rotors are bigger and vented, bigger rotor is more stopping power. Vented makes them cool a off better for track purposes. The pistons in the C5 are actually slightly smaller than the LS1 pistons.
If I was to upgrade my brakes again I would have went with the LS1 brake setup for 200$ instead of C5 for 700$.

I'd personally steer clear from this version. Lots of R&D has gone into other C5 brackets out there like the trackbrackets and UMI. Their brackets are one piece where this one has separate loose spacers for the caliper bolts. Brakes aren't something I'd personally cheap out on or want failing on me.
