Yeah 2 inches will affect your pinion angle so you will need an adj torque arm and depending on what size tires you are running you might need an adj panhard bar also

2inches is a big drop. Have fun scraping everything and having no suspension travel at all.

you'll also have next to no suspension travel, lca angle will be pretty bad without relocation brackets, and you will want an adjustable panhard bar and alignment

if you're 16 you might like it. If you know or care anything about a cars performance, you will hate it.

Just make sure of your priorities, any exhaust that hangs lower than the factory system is a BIG NO-NO, and as stated above LCA relocation brackets are a must.

IMO, go with a lowering kit that will allow you to adjust the ride height so you can set it so it's drivable on the roads in you area. You'll also want at least a 550 lb.in. spring rate up front, and make sure the rear bumpstops are in good condition; otherwise replace them.
Finallly get some weld-in SFC to stiffen up the chassis, and allow you the ability to jack-up your car from more lift points.

Getting the car on a 2 post lift will be a pain... and you will constant scrape.. but, it does look good while parked.

You'll need to do the "UMM - upper mount mod" in the front & trim the bump stops in the rear to get some suspension travel back.

They look great sitting there on the ground. But I wouldn't want to drive it. Two inches might not sound like much, but for and F-Body it's huge.

The majority of what was said above is true, 2" is going to require some other parts to correct the geometry. Apart from the limited suspension travel you will need to center the rearend with an adjustable panhard rod and correct the instant center with a set of control arm relocation brackets.

i lowered my first 4th gen with sportlines and then went to gc coilovers. It was pretty low. I avoided large speed bumps and yes the front shocks probably bottomed out on huge bumps so I should have done the upper mount mod. the rears were fine set extremely low with 150 spring rate.

My new SS will be lowered to its limit too. ill try doing the u.m.m or conjuring up another way to get more shock travel as well. The looks are more than worth it I hATE the 4x4 sme fbodies have with 'supposed' lowering springs. No driving issues including at top speed.

I agree it will look great.. But, I just hate having to avoid every speed bump, steep driveway and those gas station metal covers... Long tubes + 2 inch drop makes the exhaust half a soda can off the ground..

my Z had about a 1.5" or slightly steeper drop. i had none of the extra mods these guys are talking about. i didn't have any serious problems. i didn't even have lca's or relo brackets. the car didn't bounce, but there was a fair amount of drift. though if your car is a city/street car i think drift in first gear is preferable because it's more fun and you're not trying to set a quarter mile record while you're on the street.

my car was lowered like that for 5 years. one thing that i will resound is that you will scrape on a lot of things. i scraped on steep speed bumps or on regular speed bumps if i had a passenger in the car (not serious scraping though). steep driveways or inclines, i scraped. i definitely had to be careful. i hit the rear bump stops a lot. it was kind of a PITA, but i had excellent caster on my alignment, too, which made for awesome high-speed handling. my BMW now has better handling than my Z, but only by a little, and that says a lot because the BMW has insanely excellent handling/weight-distrubition stock. i did have subframe connectors though.
