If you're looking for handling, that might be too much rear bar when used with that front. What do you do with the car?

that's what i am thinking too,i don't race or anything, just normal driving and maybe sometimes a little sideways.the roads here are so slippery that you go sideways even if you don't want to!

With a 32mm front, a stock bar will be a better match handling wise. That's just my opinion. Does your car twist at the drag strip on slicks with big power? If it does then the 23 might be better.. or even a 25. Daily driving and handling.. stick with the stock bar if using a 32mm front.

I think the consensus is that a big rear bar will make the rear loose (tail happy). It would only be good for a drag car.

I would go bigger on the front bar before the rear to a 35mm bar. ST makes the stiffest available that is solid, and Strano sells a hollow 35mm bar that will make it handle great. I used to have the ST 35/stock 19 setup, but now I have ST 35/solid 21 solid combo. Switching from the 19mm stock to 21mm I definitely noticed how much easier it was to kick the rear end out, but with the very stiff ST 35mm bar, the 21mm 3rd gen bar gave it a now great balance. I myself may end up with the Hotchkis 36.5mm hollow front bar eventually to save some weight, as it is in between the solid 35mm and hollow 35mm in stiffness. If you go with that much rear with that little front your car will be very tail happy, trust me! I would only go with the 23mm if running staggered width tires, such as 275/315's, and even so, I would still run a 35mm hollow up front with it. If keeping the 32mm front bar, I wouldn't go over 21mm to be honest.

In short, avoid 32/23 combo unless you want a lot of oversteer, but if you want balance, I would suggest 35/21.

I second the 35/21 solid combination. I am running the exact same setup, an ST 35mm solid front bar and 21mm solid third gen rear bar and they provide a very good balance in handling.

Which 3rd gens did the 21mm come on? Non G92 TPI's?? I scored a 23mm off a TA years ago, but may not use it with my BMR 32mm solid up front...

If you have a 32mm front, best you stay with a 19mm rear. The ONLY reason 1993 1LE's used 32/21 (and they are the only car that did) was because that car didn't use the stiffer 1LE rear springs, but did in the front--so they used a 21mm rear bar to up the rear wheel rate for balance. But if you do that on a car with non-1LE springs at both ends, you are making the relatively a lot stiffer.

I use a 22mm rear bar, that's hollow--but I team it with a 35mm front (also hollow). Balance very similar to a 32/19 combo, but about 3% stiffer in the rear relative.. and about 30% stiffer overall.
