Default Rotor and Caliper Options

Do not want to grind or use spacers with aftermarket 15" diameter wheels.
Car is a 1998 Camaro.

Looking for Rotors and Caliper options (Front/Rear) that will work with after market 15" diameter rims.

Car will be driven on the street and need to retain the parking brake.

Wilwood, Strange, others?

1998 Sport Gold Hardtop

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
Here is a link to the Wilwood site showing some brakes that will fit using 15" front wheels. The streetability of a non vented rotor depends on Your driving style.

http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Bra...Camaro&option=

The rear kits require a 17" wheel so I will continue looking for another possibility.

Thank you. Let me know what you come up with.

Use the .81 thick rotor?

Does the .81 thick rotor come cross drilled/slotted?

Carl Thanks for your insight.
Searched and found this.

After the LS conversion I am going swap out the rear for a 9 inch Ford.

I already have the rear and Strange late model big bearing ends.
I can than narrow the rear 2 inches per side and used a 15 inch Street Lite rim with a 5.5 inch backspace.
The plus side I will still retain the parking brake since this build will be a street/strip car.

Car will not be a daily driver primary used for car cruise nights and drag strip.

Hey Mike,
Thats going to work out perfectly! I wasn't having much luck finding anything to fit the small GM housing end and accepting 15" wheels.

Wilwood also offers a Low profile rear brake set-up w/parking brake that will fit down to a 14'' wheel. Same price as your other option.

Aerospace offers some good brake kits for around 530 but dont retain the parking brake and will clear any wheel with at least a 13.150 ID. Just to give you some more options
