What's the purpose in keeping the EBCM if you have deleted abs and tcs. Might as well get rid of it also. Curious as to why you removed everything. I have heard of people saying weight savings...but really???

I'm not doing it for weight savings but it is nice cause my car is a sled... I have a mosier 9" and over sized wheels and you can not program wheel size changes in the EBCM so you always have a wheel speed sensor fault causing both systems not to fuction anyway. So I figured clean up the engine bay and shed a few pounds.

You'll be removing the ABS controller (EBCM) and bracket with our kit. TCS you can remove that also if you want. It will be just sitting on the passenger side fender as dead weight.

Are you saying the BCM as in body control module. Pretty sure it runs interior light/radio/acc functions. It also sends a "clear" signal for the PCM to run the engine once VATS has been satisfied.

I might be misinformed so let me know... but I was under the impression that a abs delete kit removes the ABS modulator from under the hood but there is a Brake control module that is behind the driver side kick panel that controlled ABS/TCS. If what 01ss is saying is correct than it controls more than ABS/TCS and I cannot remove it. I'm in Afghanistan so I’m just doing research but I can’t exactly go out and check the car myself so I’m dependant on the forum when it comes to info for my project when I come home.

you have to buy a throttle and cruise cable from a non traction control car and then just yank the system

I would Think? someone would need to go in and adjust your Tune. Because your PCM communicates with the BCM.

the TCS and ABS are controlled by the Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBTCM) that we were talking about earlier. Its cant be tuned out you just have to kill your dash lights which ever way you think is best for your car.

Sort of? Maybe I misunderstood. If it's just the TCS it can be removed because my 98 does not have it but some cars come with it. So that would tell me they just add on some extra parts and make an adjustment in the programming. now if your asking about disconnecting your ABS....I would not do that.
