Default Run new rear shocks only?

I just got a pair of used Bilsteins for the rear of my 02 Z28. I still have stock suspension front and back. Should I put them on even thought I don't have fronts yet? Or should I wait until I buy the fronts... Thanks

I put new shocks in the rear, but left the frony stock till I can afford the front konis. Been that way for about 8-9K miles now.

It won't be an issue just changing out the rear shocks what so ever.

Another vote for changing to better shocks anytime you can.

I drove my ws6 with bilsteins in the back for a few days until I was off to do the front. There was a huge difference between just the back shocks. When i did the front there was an improvement but not as drastic. Granted my stock rear shocks were completely gone my front ones still had some life in them.

A similar follow up: What about lowering springs and shocks just in the rear? I got summit drag shocks out back but am waiting for a sale to get shocks up front.

How is your rake now? If you're a little bit rear high, lowering springs might level you out nicely.

Clarification: I bought lowering springs for all four but only shocks for the rear. I already have the rear shocks and springs installed, but am waiting a few months to the front shock/spring swap because I'm going to get a pair for the front on sale.
