Default Front & rear strut spring swap. eibach pro kit

Just installed a fresh new pair of eibach springs, the pro kit. I have only done the rear so far but check it out. This is the difference between stock and pro kit.

Install was extremely simple for the back, anyone could do it. Took me about an hour and a half, used outside spring compressors to take out the old, but didnt need them to put in the new. I used ls1howto as a guide.

So I finished the install. The front shocks were definately harder but definately still pretty easy to do. I had a little trouble getting the nut off the end of the bolt on the shock, but that was because it was rusted on. Took the shock and spring to a mechanic shop and he took it off and saved the shock for 10 dollars. Went to GM and got a replacement nut for 6 dollars (rape). Easy project. Amazing performance results and it just looks so much better.

Note that some of the pictures only have the back springs done, and the newer pictures have both springs done. Check out the difference

Try to get someone to help u it will run a lot smoother if u do
I had to fight with the strut a bit to pull it out and put it back in
And be careful those springs are under a lot of pressure
But if u dnt its fine u still will be able too

My front struts were a royal pita. Have patience and pray to god it goes smooth than mine did. If the front is completely untouched invest in a lot of penetrating fluid and if your like me have a torch ready for the top shock bolt.

Just added the finished photos. The front and rear eibach pro kit is installed if anyone cares to see the difference, my photos are both before, during and after.
