Default SFC's, Need advice on choosing.

I am interested in buying SFC's. I have sportline springs on my 99 Z28 w/ t-tops. I am looking for weld in ones that have good-decent ground clearance with good quality. What do you guys recomend? Do all sub frame connectors allow access to remove the transmision? I also work at a shop with access to a 2 post side lift. Is it a bad idea to weld them on that kind of a lift due to body flex? Do I need to use a 4 post drive on lift? Thanks.

It is best to weld them on a drive on.
Any SFC will give you clearance& trans access.
It is pretty much up to you, if you want the stiffer double diamonds or the least tubulars it's up to you.
It weight gain or gain of support.
I chose the latter.

I would go with the Kenny Brown Double Diamon. They tuck up really nicely. You will have zero ground clearance issues. Also they weld to the pinch weld which really helps stiffin up the car.

You don't say which brand of header you'll be getting, I know I have read that there has been some clearence problem with KBDD SFC and headers ( depends on which brand of header you go with ). I think I would settle on which brand of header you want first, then check to see which SFC will work with your headers. I can tell you SLP bolt-on SFC work fine with SLP headers.

Little late, but I think you'd be happy w/ just about any regular 2-pt subframe connector. The KBDD are overkill on a 4th gen in my opinion, but I've been told I was wrong before.

Has anybody bought the RK sport triangulated subframe connectors? They look pretty much the same as the Kenny Brown design, except they're powdercoated black instead of zinc coated. From checking around a bit, it seems like the KB / RKS design is much lighter than the SLP design - does anybody have some hard numbers on what these actually weigh? I'd heard 40 pounds (!) for the SLP subs
