How can I get my car lower?
So my 98 SS has Eibach's installed and the front is pretty low, close to the fender. The rear however I feel is a little too tall, I'd like it to be a bit more even with the front as far as how close the tire is to the fender. I have some ES bump stops in place so I know it won't hit the quarter.
Just curious as to how to get the car lower. The only things I can think of is taking out the plastic pieces above the rear spring and doing the hose mod but I think that would make it too low. The other option is to either cut my Eibach's or cut my stock rears and put those back in there. I have seen a lot of rear Eibach springs for sale which tells me a lot of people or shops are using the stock spring in the rear vs the Eibach rear springs because they are too soft.
Please note I have had a 01 before which had cut SS springs all around and they didn't ride bad and didn't bounce so please don't give me the "don't cut your spring speech" I know it's not the way to do it per-say but if it gets the job done in the rear I'm prob gonna try it, plus with a spare set of springs lying around I have nothing to lose.
Any tips? Tricks? or do I need adjustable shocks?
From this picture it's hard to tell because I have 275's at the front but the front tire is actually closer to the fender than it looks here, in this picture it looks even. Basically I've seen other F-Bodys where the tire is close to the fender front to back and I want that look. Wheels are 17x11 all around.
Thanks,
Mike

Ignore the front height on this picture because it wasn't dropped yet but the rear in this picture is kind of the clearance I'm looking for. This is the 01 I had before this SS.

So measured it and I can put 2 fingers in the gap up front and about 3 fingers in the gap in the back. Hoping I can even them out somehow, I guess that's not bad. Use to seeing other cars (mostly non fbodies) with hardly any gap.

If all you care about is the look then just cut the springs, its not going to handle or ride nearly as well as it could, but it looks like you are not after that anyway.
