Default Looking for brake hard lines/hosing replacement kit.

First off, I am from Holland so I'd like to say sorry for the grammar.

My car ('99 camaro Z28) is in storage for the winter and I plan to do some maintenance work on it. During last years vehicle inspection I was told the brake hard lines were starting to corrode.

I would like to do a full replacement/upgrade on the brake line "plumbing" and have been looking for a kit but can't find any. Do you guys know if any kits are available that replace the hard lines and the rest of the hosing/fittings?

Regards,
Sander

I have used Inline Tube to replace brake lines on a 72 nova I had. They were quality parts that looked and fit correct. I don't think they currently offer a complete replacement kit at this time. It looks like Classic tube does however.

To the OP, while you have the lines off the car, I would suggest using the stainless steel braided flex lines. Both Earl's Supply and Russel make them.

That's what I had in mind, thanks for mentioning the manufacturers.

Disagree on the flex line, it would be much more expensive, Go with steel or stainless steel solid line. Bend your own if you need to.

I think leadfoot4 is referring to replacing the stock flexible hoses from the hard line to the brakes for steel braded ones.

you could make your own brake lines .you will need a flaring and bending tool .you mite need new line fittings ,if yours are damaged .can you find the proper size brake line locally ?
