Default Braided lines on all 4 or just the front for CTS-V Upgrade

Any advantage to doing the upgrade on all 4 corners?

The only advantage to braided lines is that they are less likely to break if hit by some debris, otherwise they are a waste of money.

Got it. Someone was saying that the stock lines can balloon under high heat. No sure if its true or not.

I'd go with the braided so there all new at once. Stock lines are 15 years old or more, not saying yours are bad, only saying stuff wears out over time and not skimp on any part of the braking system.

If this helps my entire braking system will be new soon with the restoration, except for the actual metal lines and the ABS module.

Nice find chad! So these will work with the CTS-V 4 piston calipers and stock rears?

I'm pretty sure you need the conversion brake lines from Kore 3 to run those calipers on front.

This statement is very true, the braided line kit from Russell is rated @ 300psi, and the kit has upgraded banjo fittings to boot. These lines will not leak or balloon, and because of this it gives you a stiffer brake pedal.

That is a good price for the kit, I paid $89 (14 years ago) for the 5 line kit, for Sara (2001 Z28) does not have traction control.

Lol @ the internet

Teflon Stainless Steel braided lines won't expand under pressure, period.
