holy crap, how much clearance do you have between the back of the caliper and the inside of the rim?? It looks like its almost touching. Are you using regular LS1 spindles or something custom fabbed? Looks like a nice setup.

LG Motorsports sells a kit to do this, which includes the brackets you had to fab up. Looks good though!
I don't have *any* clearance between my caliper and the inside of the rim.
PS: You know the "Z06" brakes are just red-painted "regular" C5 brakes, right?

the LG brackets ($250) are for 98+ fbodies, not worth the time or money to do the swap.
i hope to have more info on the brackets at a later date...
the wheels are 17x9.5 ZR1 wheels....come standard on early 4th gen SS's.
and it is the very minimum clearance!!!
yes the calipers are the same but red. they are the same price @ gmpartsdirect.com so why not get the red ones???
it didnt matter to me anyway, i got mine used with Goodridge stainless steel lines from "subdriver" webpage on Z06vette.com.

no prob, didnt think you were slammin me. i had to re-paint them red anyways...they were very discolored from heat.....
notice the outter part of the disc is only getting pad contact.....ive only got about 30 miles on them so far. once the pads wear a little it should contact the whole surface.
i got the calipers w/SS brake lines for 75 bucks. they were heavily used on the track. i think the hard braking under high temps may have spread the calipers a bit....but hey, you get what you pay for.
