Angry Stuck bolt during suspension install

Well after about 3hrs of trying to install my new koni sa's I didnt get to put the drivers side in .

The bolt that was stuck was one of those stupid T-50 torx bolts that are located under the hood by the master cylinder. The damn thing would NOT budge...even on the air gun. I broke 3 T-50's trying to get the f*cking thing out, and almost stripped the star pattern. I had it soaking in liquid wrench for a while too.

Any suggestions guys? I had to put the whole assembly back together too because I had to drive home, which pisses me off

edit: Also, can I replace those rediculous torx bolts with regular ones? Or is there some unseen reason for using them?

Don't know what else you can try to get it off, but I'm pretty sure they can be replaced by regular bolts as long as they're the same length.

You can change to regular bolt head. I did on my initial install. That way i can get a wrench on the bolt-head. And don't have to pull the master cylinder when i drop my upper 'A' arms

Should I just grind the head of the bolt off? I didn't want to go that drastic

When I went back together with my set up, I used the hex bolts from the passenger side under the MC. Easier that the Torx heads to get to.

I then put the Torx head over on the passenger side because I could get a wrench on them easier.

If the bolt is siezed, it's seized for a reason. You should replace the upper perch as it obviously has a problem.

Upper perch...is that the upper control are that sits on top of the spring? Can I get a part number for that?

I generally try to stay away from the dealership when it comes to purchasing parts because of the massive ***-raping my wallet gets when I buy stuff from them.

Monroes..? Any link or info on those?

Thanks

Well, I had a jack underneath the lower arm so it was under a decent amount of pressure. But I'll give it a try when I get a chance.

Anyone ever heard of wacking the head of the bolt with a hammer to break it loose? That's wat my dad suggested.
