HEll ya keep on fighting man...we are all proud of you back here in the states. If you look alittle deeper into the brake section you will find al the info you need for brake conversions. Its about 600 bucks.

Keep up the good work we DO SUPPORT YOU

Hey man I have done this, but I am still running crap pads. I got my brackets from UMI (sponsor). Just remember stock wheels will not clear the calipers. It is not really a hard conversion to do.

Thanks for fighting for us.

all you need is this:

Kore3 C5 brake brackets (do a google search for Kore3) because they are the cheapest and extremely well made

Autozone duralast replacement C5 front rotors (about 30$ each)

C5 abutment brackets (also called caliper craddles, about 40$ each, you need 2)

and thats all you need.. you can use your Fbody calipers and abutment hardware to change over to the new stuff...

Do your research... this is an okay mod, but there are better, less expensive options if you're simply concerned with better braking. Upgrading stock size rotors & pads with yield excellent results for not much $$$. The C5 brake upgrade costs alot more and adds alot of extra weight, about 12 lbs per wheel. Not trying to talk you out of it, but do your research.

Actually, one of my LT1 customers weighed his kit and the C5 stuff was a touch lighter than the LT1 brakes. So, you have to be careful when you say it adds weight. It depends on the car and what brakes are on it.

Really? The brake upgrade is my next mod but I don't want to go overboard I just want to be done with the perpetual warped stock rotors and get somthing that looks good throught the wheels. I have the 2002 17 inch wheels specific to the WS6. Can I put C5 calipers and rotors on this car without other changes? Of course I would upgrade pads an lines. Advice would be appreciated.

LT1's had steel calipers vs Ls1's aluminum. Good pads would be a good starting point.
