Default Brakes will not hold my car to do a decent burnout "help"

When I go to race someone, I pump the brakes push them to the floor, throw it in first and floor it and automatically my car starts pushing. Its spinning a little but not really enought to get a lot of heat in the tires. I don't have a problem hooking now but when I spray it I think i'm gonna have to do better burnouts!! Also when I'm trying to stop at a high rate of speed all of a sudden the brakes almost give all the way out, like they just lose pressure. I 'm thinking of doing a abs delete will this help? my rotors are only like 6mths old and the pads are the same.

You may not want to put full pressure, too much and
you will start working the rear brakes. There should be
no need to pump the brakes anyway, if pumping helps
then you need the lines bled I think.

Do you have a line lock or are you trying to do a brake stand?

No line lock, Yea I'd like for it to sit still for at least a couple of seconds. Do u think line lock would do the trick? I've though about that, but it just seems like my brakes aren;t strong enought to hold the tires still so I don't know if a lock would help. I'd hate to spent money on diffrent calipers, but I have a feeling thats what it is some reason

Get a line lock and bleed the brakes.

Doing a burnout the way you are describing is TERRIBLE for the brakes. Invest in a line lock kit, your brakes will thank you.

If your brakes fade that quickly under normal use...you have problems. You said you have new pads and rotors so that won't be the problem. I would suggest draining and replacing your brake fluid and then doing a thorough bleed.

Your ABS has nothing to do with it.

A line lock will definately help, but you need to fix your braking problem FIRST!

The line lock will hold your front brakes only, allowing the rear wheels to spin freely. I am assuming that your goal is to heat up the rear tires prior to making a run. Since your front brakes perform 85% of the braking duties, they will be more than adequate to hold the car while you heat up the tires.

You should not be able to push the brake pedal to the floor. If you can then you have a problem with the your braking system... Air in the lines, bad brake master, torn braids in a rubber brake hose... Start with the basic stuff first.

The high speed thing is simply brake fade. The pads get hot and don't grab as well. I had that problem until I went to ceramic pads.
