Thumbs up Strano Front SB

Just a heads up fellas. I finally got back to working on the T/A, and I just finished installing Sam's FSB. What a difference! I'm amazed really. Like different car. It did firm the ride up a little, but it's going around curves where Sam's bar is really making a difference. It feels like a monorail. Amazing! Highly recommended.

It wasn't all that easy to install though, for me. I had a tough time getting the bracket bolts back in (they wanted to cross-thread). Also, the bolt holes in Sam's brackets need to be a little bigger. And before I thought of jacking up the a-arms to help installing the end links, I cut about 3/8" off the end link sleeves so I could thread on the nuts. It hasn't caused a problem, but it's probably better to jack on the a-arms instead of shortening the sleeves.

Sam's front sway bar--great mod!!

the machine that the people use to make the hardware for sam is wearing out and doesnt make the holse big enough. He said he was getting after them about it but until then, a file will fix it.

I just did some reading on some other threads about that FSB. Sounds like an awesome mod that I'd really enjoy. I'm thinkin it's my next purchase after my shocks. Good to see another happy person. Makes me have no doubt about purchasing one from Sam Strano.

You'll be very happy, especially after the installation is done.

And yes, shocks and Strano's FSB are probably the best two suspension mods you could do. I'd see what Sam has to say about what shocks you should get.

Good luck!

It's amazing that Strano's bar is lighter than the stocker considering how much stronger and stiffer it is. An extra bonus!

Just for anyone who might read this post in the future, looking for install help, the key is to get ALL the bracket bolts started before tackling the end links. If you install the endlinks first, the bracket bolts won't go in straight.

FiredUpZ28, you could have a great handling setup with the 35mm Strano FSB and keeping the stock 19mm RSB.

That's what I did. Yes, the bolts don't fit that great through the bracket, but with someone holding the bar while I used the ratchet on them, they started themselves in enough for me to work on the endlinks, then I came back and tightened down the brackets.

I drove the car up on Rhino ramps and had no problems at all with the install. Other than the very slight issue with the brackets, it's was easy as pie. I love Sam's products and service.
