Need help BAD!!!!
I was racing on of my buddies the other night. He bought a Cobalt SS Turbo and wanted to see how it would run against my SS. Normally I wouldn't waste my time, but he's a good friend ( and he gave me 10 bucks for gas!). I tried to heat up my tires but I couldn't even do a burn out. My brakes wouldn't hold!! My ABS INOP light came on when I lined up. I raised my rpm's but my car just kept creepin out. Then when we left the line it felt like my brakes were still engaged!! He stayed right beside my for half of the 1/4 mile. At about the 1/8 mile mark it felt like my brakes released. I shot off on him like a bullet from a gun and still pulled 6 legnths on him. What the hell happened?? My ABS INOP light is still on and It feels differently when I brake. I checked the grounds, connections, fuse, fluid level, all that stuff and I couldn't find anything out of place. Before this race It had sat for aprox 50 or so days. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
This is really pissin me off
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello?? Does anyone have any idea whats going on?? I don't quite know what to do. If it is to expensive to fix I may just do away with it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

81 views and not a single comment? Is it that bad? I figured at least one of our tech guys would have chimed in by now. The car is just sitting in my garage right now. I'm not going to drive it anymore until I get this fixed. Any imput would still be appreciated.

bro you should put the car on a jack, pull the wheels and check it out. Kind of hard to diagnose something from a story about what happened. Staring at the abs box is not going to help you. Spin the tires by hand, check the brakes on all 4 corners, see if it looks like they were dragging, check the pistons in the calipers, brake lines etc. If you cant see anything wrong, take it to a reputable shop or a dealer.

It's not a TCS car. It is blowing my mind, I also haven't been able to get it into the shop due to money issues. I'm having to drive my old beater metro. Gets good milage, but still it's a freakin metro. It's pretty agrivating when I drive to work. I have punk *** kids in civics rev on me all the time. I gotta get my SS fixed!!
