Default What comes with the Koni shocks.

I just bought the front and rear Koni kits, 8241 1139Sport and 8241 1140Sport. Does anyone know what all comes in each kit? I think I am missing some items. Actually I know I am missing at least one thing but I am trying to get a list so I can get replacements from where I ordered them. Thanks.

If I remember correctly...

Fronts:
Two shocks.
Two big flat washers.
Two nuts.
Ridiculous instructions.

Rears:
Two shocks.

Pretty sure the dust boots came already on mine, too.

EDIT: looks like those P/N are for the 4/4 set... you should have a **** for the rear I'd imagine. I have the 4/3 so I really can't comment further. Good luck.

I didn't get a **** for the rear. I got the 4/4's though. How do you adjust the front. I thought it came with *****?? OK, I guess from the list I am only missing the adjusting **** for the rear. I am glad that is it. I was afraid it was a package of other little things as well.

The fronts don't adjust with *****, only your rear shocks will. The fronts adjust with a 2.5mm hex key using the access window at the top of the shock. Search this forum for "koni adjustment" by JasonWW, it'll make it easier to understand when looking at a picture.

Just a reminder that setup and detailed information is supplied to Strano Performance Parts customers.

In this case, I'm sorry that I can't support the shocks bought elsewhere, just wanted to remind folks that there's often a reason you find "great deals". Easier to play pricing games when a company can't or doesn't support the product with setup information. Although our pricing is more than fair and at the Minimum Advertised Pricing Koni allows.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. I would pay more for the great service but Sam has great prices and greater support.

Thanks Sam.

Yup, I had one question with my install and it was solved rather quick with the call to you. The instructions that come with Koni are mediocre at best IMO. The ones that came the your bushings were infinitely better. The whole setup feels great btw even though I've only been able to test in the rain with this storm over my head.

To the OP yes you should have got a **** for adjustment. I want to say it can be adjusted with pliers as well though but I'm not sure. It's been a while since I messed with the 4th gen rears.

I got them from Sam(nice guy) lucky its pretty easy to figure out whats what and you want them mounted with the adjustment pointing out in the front. Mine showed up in a box that looked like Coujo had his way with it. Instructions you could wipe you arss with. I did not get any adjustment **** or hardware for the rear so I just shot over to napa and got stock cousions and washers and 2 nuts for $10.00 and I was good to go.

My box looked the same way but my rear hardware was still in the box.
I am doing my fronts tomorrow. I did the rears yesterday and already could feel the difference.

My box was all torn up as well. That was part of the problem. I ended up only "misplacing" the ****. My nephew decided to go throught the box while I wasn't looking I guess. Anyways, I did find it and have all the parts. I would have bought from Sam but found them for over $100 cheaper. I do plan to get the springs from him though.
