Default torque arm installed

Ok got the thing installed and adjusted it to match the factory piece (-1) and it seems to drive fine, Im probably going to take it to a shop just to have them check the pinion angle.
Out of curiosity how bad would a vibration be if the pinion was binding? I dont feel any at all, but Im the paranoid type of fella that needs to know these things!
How bad would it be and would it be constant at all speeds? Thanks all.

It depends on how far the angles were off. I would think it would be much worse under hard acceleration. Under hard acceleration, I gotta believe that
-1 could result in 0 deg pinion angle. I got mine set at -2 just to be safe.

Z we suggest that you get your pinion angle set to -2 to -3 degrees. Under acceleration the pinion rotates up so ideally under acceleration your pinion is 0 degrees .Here is a link to a video that we made that explains the proper way to set and check the angle. If you have any questions please give us a call.

Thanks, actually I already watched your video a couple of times!
Its funny, I have no vibration at any speed except for that caused by the shitty roads here in washington, but I actually have some vibration sitting at idle now! I noticed yesterday that on of my exhaust hangers had lost a bolt and the other was on its way out. Tightened it up today and applied some lock tight and now at idle there is a slight vibration that mirrors cam lope. I started freaking out thinking I had degreed the TA wrong until I realized I was sitting still.
So if the pinion angle was off it would be a very noticeable vibe, related to enging speed right?

The BMR video is giving some incorrect information. Try reading this thread that I just made on the subject, and make sure you did it right. https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes/974198-measuring-pinion-angle.html

Ok well I had -3 rear end angle and +1 driveshaft, so instead of adding them and coming up with -2, I instead should subtract the two and thusly I have -4? That dosent sound good...

Yeah, -3 and +1 is negative four. It's not gonna kill you, but it's not helping anything either.

Damn that BMR video. Where did y'all find that guy?
